——— The cally clock tower in the center area of the park was once built as part of Copenhagen House in early 18th century. (Private space)
——— In 1851, Copenhagen House be destroyed for the new Metropolitan Cattle Market, the architect was James Bunstone Bunning. And The clock tower be built at the same time. (Share space)
——— In 1939, it belongs to army, used as a vehicle storage during the World war II. (Military space)
——— The London County Council (LCC) & Islington County Council bought the site in 1969, and start to build housing at the north side. And the north of the market road area as the public park open in 1970. Now the Caledonian park friends group protect the amenities and wildlife of the park. (Free space)
